Six Week Schedule for Basic Dog 1 (Dogs over six months old)

This can change a lot based on the needs, strengths, and abilities of the dog and owner:

WEEK 2:  (Review) Long Line, (New) Molded Sits, (New) Heel, (New) Release Command

WEEK 3:  (Review) Heel, (Review) Molded Sits, (Updated) Sit with Correction, (New) Stand, (New) Place, (New) Stay,

WEEK 4:  (Review) Heel with sits,  (Review) Sit goal of four in a row without correction, (Review) Stand,  (Review) Place,  (Review) Stay,  (New) Down, (New) Recall, [Possible field trip]

WEEK 5:  Mixing up commands to be used in new ways, and in distracting settings. [Possible field trip]

WEEK 6:  Last day where we will review where the commands are, practice in more distractions if possible, answer lingering questions, and discuss maintenance or next steps.

***Each lesson will end by discussing the comfort level of the client with the lesson. Also we will answer any questions clients have at the end of the lessons. Limited questions will be allowed during the lesson, as there is a lot to do in the space of an hour. I am more than happy to extend the lesson at no cost to answer questions on the lesson itself, puppy care, general dog training issues, and many other things.
